Today Rob and I set out on the ferry at 9.30am to Auckland City to film our infomercial. It started off excellent with good weather and not too many people on the streets so filming was easy. But, this experience proved to be another learning curve for us. The new camera mum had bought me for my birthday worked perfect, but the 16gig card broke about an hour into filming. The filming that we did get done was excellent, heaps of camera angles and movement were used all around the city, but now its all lost because of the faulty card. Luckily we have enough time to go back to town next weekend to film, and hopefully Zoe turns up this time. Its good to see dedication from Rob and I at this early stage of the filming and not backing out on final plans. It is quite annoying knowing that all of the filming done is lost, but today mum and I went and got the card replaced. A few positives came out of today, we found the spots that we want to film in so next time we wont need to walk around as much, and I discovered that Rob is very good in front of the camera! Next time, I hope that all the group members can attend and read their emails that I sent out, and that the memory card wont fail again.
