This week in media we finished off the short films that we started about a tutorial of film techniques. I found out that iMovie can be very frustrating and unreliable that has proved a very valuable lesson for our bigger assignment coming up. The computer that we unfortunately received out of bad luck was incredibly slow, and usually didn't let us upload our work or sometimes didn't even open up iMovie. I must admit, that iMovie is actually a really good resource and does eventually work on the right computer that has a professional finish, but it is highly frustrating when you put so much work into a project that could easily get wiped out because you have to force quit out of the programme. Eventually, after staying a little bit after class, we achieved the result that we wanted to get. It would have been nice to get a little bit more time, but we need to get onto the proper assignment! I think this little project was a good learning curve and geared us up to look at transitions and effects for our real infomercial. It also showed that you have to be patient with technology nowadays and you need to take out the time to really work on your video. The project turned out a su
